OMP law firm successfully acted as legal advisor to Agro-Region Group in the sale of 100% of its assets to Enselco Group (Kernel), marking one of the largest M&A transactions in Ukraine’s agricultural sector since the beginning of the full-scale war.
Agro-Region Group, one of Ukraine’s leading agricultural holdings, operates a land bank of around 41,000 hectares across four regions and grain storage facilities with a total capacity of approximately 200,000 tonnes.
The transaction demonstrates the resilience and attractiveness of Ukrainian agricultural assets, even under challenging wartime conditions, and highlights the successful execution of strategic investment projects in the country.
OMP provided full legal support throughout the deal, including preparation, transaction structuring, negotiation support, obtaining regulatory approvals, and closing the transaction. The project was led by Managing Partner Mykola Orlov, with coordination by Counsel Mykola Chemezov.
